Affordable Dental Coverage for You and Your Family
AFFDENT™ dental plans allow you to pay a monthly membership fee for discounts on your dental expenses. These benefits provide coverage that can be budgeted at an affordable monthly expense while receiving excellent discounts for basic dental work.
Your dentist's office will administer the plan to you directly. There is no need to contact a third party company for information. All questions regarding plan membership types or any other questions should be directed to your dentist's office personnel.
Your dentist may refer you to a dental specialist. AFFDENT™ members must verify the specialist's participation in the AFFDENT™ plans prior to accepting treatment. Your dentist will have a complete listing of participating specialists.
TYPE I DENTAL SERVICES:
A 100% discount for all consultations, exams, x-rays, sealants, child fluoride treatments and two basic cleanings per year. These services are applied toward your yearly benefit maximum with no additional out-of-pocket expenses.
TYPE II DENTAL SERVICES:
Fillings, simple extractions, scaling and root planning periodontal services, basic root canal therapy, build-ups, PFM crowns, PFM bridges, inlays, onlays, dentures, partials, any type of soft or hard denture relines and all types of transitional partial dentures. These services are applied toward your yearly benefit maximum. There will be a 50% discount off the doctor's private fees. The out-of-pocket fee is due the day of service. Emergency Visits, Limited Exams or any temporary palliative treatment fees are exempt from this plan.
*Your dental decisions about your dental care should be between you and your dentist without the interference of a third party involvement.

A Note from Dr. Bridenstine:
As you know we live in times of layoffs, COBRA expirations and HMO plan changes. Many company's monthly dental premiums are continuing to go up, while at the same time the dental benefits are continuing to go down. You may also know of someone who is presently unhappy with their dental plan that forces them to choose some unknown doctor on some limited insurance list of providers. This alone limits their freedom to choose the doctor of their choice that they trust and feel comfortable with.
Our private dental plans are very affordable and will enable you and your family to receive the dentistry you need and at the same time comfortably fit it all inside your monthly budget.
These plans utilize the same concepts of dental plans many companies offer that you are already familiar with. Only these plans are more patient friendly, more affordable and has eliminated the costly "Middle-Man," also known as the insurance claims adjuster. With these plans there will be no more third party intervention on the dental treatment you desire to have done. This alone keeps the costs down and passes the savings onto you.
What does all this mean? It means there are no more insurance claims to file and you having to wait months for the insurance companies to respond. You receive your dental treatment without having to wait for "special approval." It means the dental work you desire is between you and the doctor with no more "non-doctor" insurance claims adjuster deciding what type of dentistry you can and can't have done. It means no more predetermination forms to file to insurance companies and waiting 90 to 120 days for a response. The response is usually your pre-determination has been lost and new one needs to be resubmitted. It means you, the patient, are in complete control of your own dental health and how you want to manage it. We are only here to help you receive the dental services you desire.
These plans also offer coverage for dental specialty services. I have arranged with many of these specialists to accept these private dental plans at their own offices.
