Oral Conscious Sedation
Oral conscious sedation is designed to keep you comfortable and undeterred by the events around you during your dental visit. Instead of experiencing anxiety and nervousness while in the treatment chair, the prescribed medication you will take before your appointment causes you to enter a deep state of relaxation. Nitrous Oxide Sedation
Milder than oral conscious sedation is nitrous oxide. Known as “laughing gas,” its fast-acting effects make receiving dental care easy and even enjoyable. The inhaled gas does not cause you to fall asleep, but instead remain relaxed and feel as if you are floating. Our team will monitor the administration of the gas, adjusting the dosage as needed throughout treatment. When finished, you are free to resume normal activity unless we have provided aftercare instructions for the procedure you received.
